Bennett, Gaga lead star-studded Ravinia schedule

Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga, the "Queen of Soul" Aretha Franklin, Seth MacFarlane, Harry Connick Jr. and Santana are among the performers who will take to the stage during Ravinia Festival's 2015 season.

Ravinia announced its star-studded season today, with more than 120 events planned from Saturday, June 13, though Saturday, Sept. 12.

Tickets for all performances at Ravinia, 418 Sheridan Road, Highland Park, go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, April 28.

The Chicago Symphony Orchestra's James Conlon will be serving in his final season as music director of the orchestra's residency. Throughout the upcoming season, CSO will present concerts featuring Disney's "Fantasia" and "Fantasia 2000," a musical tribute to the late composer Marvin Hamlisch and "The Best of the Gershwins' Porgy and Bess."

Garrison Keillor brings his "A Prairie Home Companion" radio show to Ravinia's pavilion for a live national broadcast on Saturday, June 20.

Rocker Sheryl Crow headlines on Thursday, June 25, while Tony Bennett and Lada Gaga team up for two nights of duets on Friday and Saturday, June 26-27.

Other concerts include an 80th birthday celebration for jazz pianist and composer Ramsey Lewis (Saturday, Aug. 8), country superstar Alan Jackson (Monday, Aug. 31) and Frank Sinatra Jr. (Friday, Sept. 4).

The Ravinia Kids Concert Series will feature Dan Zanes & Friends (Saturday, June 13), the Ko-Thi Dance Company (Saturday, July 18), children's musician Laurie Berkner (Sunday, Aug. 23) and much more.
