Brunson a finalist for Player of the Year honor

McDonald's announced the list of boy finalists for the 2015 McDonald's All American Games Player of the Year Award on Tuesday. Among the list of finalists is Stevenson senior guard Jalen Brunson.

The award recognizes the nation's top high school senior who demonstrates outstanding character, exhibits leadership and embodies the values of being a student-athlete in both his/her schoolwork and community affairs.

The other boys finalists are: Ben Simmons (Montverde Academy, Montverde, Fla.), Jaylen Brown (Wheeler High School, Marietta, Ga.), Malik Newman (Callaway High School, Jackson, Miss.), Isaiah Briscoe (Roselle Catholic High School, Roselle, N.J.) and Stephen Zimmerman Jr. (Bishop Gorman High School, Las Vegas, Nev.).
