Educational sessions at Green Living Fair

Local Sierra Club representatives will lead educational sessions about the potential of renewable energy and clean energy jobs, the environmental and economic impact of the proposed Route 53/120 extension and dangers associated with hazardous fuel trains on Saturday, March 14, as part of the Green Living Fair at the Libertyville Civic Center, 135 W. Church St., Libertyville. The free family-friendly event, sponsored by the Libertyville Civic Center in partnership with Lake County Green Congregations, is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Here's the Sierra Club lineup: Clean power, 10:45 a.m.; economic impact of the Route 53/120 extension, 11:30 a.m.; hazardous rail cars, 12:15 p.m.; clean power, 1 p.m.
