Would you keep, eliminate or change them? How and why?Swimming Pool is usually a program that does not pay for itself. We have recognized that serves the public interest and we have several programs in place to mitigate the cost.Is there any additional open space the park district needs to acquire? Please describe.NoneAre there any unmet recreational needs? If yes, what are they and how would you propose paying for them? Or, should they wait until the economy improves?We have various programs that are very popular and space for those programs is limited. We have been awarded a grant from the State to build a new facility at Turner Pond. This will alleviate this situation and provide a long term growth to new programs. The building is well into our financial ability and when fully operational provide revenues to that will exceed operating costs and provide funds for future programs.Would you support sharing/pooling resources (i.e. printing, vehicles) with other local governments (school districts, village, etc.)? If so, what areas would you consider combining or merging to save money or improve efficiency?I would support sharing/pooling of resources with our village partners and other governmental agencies. We have programs in place with the school districts, village and other park districts.If you are a newcomer, what prompted you to run for the park board?
