How would you manage that?Maximize all possible resources available to the college. When these avenues are exhaused I would recommend partnerships with local schools and government organizations.Are you currently employed by or retired from a school district, if so, which one? Is any member of your direct family - spouse, child or child-in-law - employed by the school district where you are seeking a school board seat?No. No.Is a tax rate increase needed and, if so, how do you justify it?Not to my knowledge. However, the services provided by the college are crucial to a brighter future in our communities. All paths to fiscal sustainability must be considered. Accountability to taxpayers is paramount.Community colleges provide many services to a diverse population. Is there a service your college should be providing that it is not, or reaching a segment of the population that it is not?With the reinviorgation of the manufacturing sector in the US, I think there is an opportunityfor the college in creating an incubator or providing services and training to start-ups. This could be a possible revenue source for the community and great public relations for the college.What do you think of President Obama's proposal for offering two years of free community college education?The propoal is a noble.
