Toledo postpones basketball game with Northern Illinois
TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) - The men's basketball game between Toledo and Northern Illinois scheduled for Tuesday evening was postponed due to a water main break near Savage Arena.
The Mid-American Conference contest has been rescheduled for Wednesday at 8 p.m.
Players from both teams were on the court and fans were in the stands when the fire marshal started to evacuate the building after water was ruled unavailable before tipoff.
The broken pipe flooded a parking lot nearby the arena.
