Scotty Hopson sets Skyforce scoring record with 52 points

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - Scotty Hopson set a Sioux Falls Skyforce single-game scoring record when he poured in 52 points against Reno.

Hopson's effort led the Skyforce past the Bighorns 141-128 on Tuesday in NBA Development League action. The win snapped a four-game home losing streak for Sioux Falls.

Hopson broke the franchise record of 46 points held by two players, Kassib Powell and Ralph Lewis. His 52 points also are the most scored by a D-League player this season.

The former University of Tennessee standout was 21-of-28 from the field. His 21 made field goals also is a single-game Skyforce record.
