Grain higher, livestock mixed

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were higher Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery unchanged at $4.9725 a bushel; May corn was 2.25 cents higher at $3.86 a bushel; May oats were unchanged at $2.6725 a bushel; while May soybeans gained 6.25 cents to $10.17 a bushel.

Beef was higher and pork lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle was 1.50 cents higher at $1.4835 a pound; March feeder cattle was 1.03 cents higher at $1.9800 a pound; April lean hogs lost .87 cent to $.6845 a pound.
