Employers invited to join in ECC Job and Internship Fair April 17

Employers are invited to reserve a table for the 2015 Elgin Community College Job and Internship Fair.

The event, produced in partnership with the Illinois Department of Employment Security and the Kane County Office of Community Reinvestment Workforce Development Division, will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, April 17, at the college's Building J Spartan Events Center, 1700 Spartan Drive, Elgin.

Last year's job fair attracted more than 600 employment-seekers and more than 125 area employers.

The college will provide a display table and two chairs. Employers must provide their own tablecloth, company banner and/or display, giveaways, recruiting materials and employment applications. Tables will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

Prior to the ECC Job Fair, a free presentation and breakfast will be provided for all employers interested in learning about area employer resources and its benefits to employers. All job and internship fair registered employers are invited to attend.

Employers must complete an application form and provide proof of open positions in order to participate. The event is $175 per employer with a discounted rate of $150 for those who pay by Wednesday, March 18.
