PISCATAWAY, N.J. (AP) - Tyler Scaife hit 9 of 16 shots and finished with 21 points to help No. 19 Rutgers beat Illinois 80-56 on Tuesday night.
Kahleah Copper scored 16 points, and Betnijah Laney and Rachel Hollivay added 14 apiece for Rutgers (20-6, 11-4 Big Ten). It was Rutgers' 11th game this season with four or more players scoring in double figures.
The Scarlet Knights have won eight of their last nine games.
Ivory Crawford had 15 points and six assists for Illinois (13-14, 4-11).
Rutgers held a 36-28 edge at halftime behind Scaife's 13 points. The Scarlet Knights had 10 turnovers in the first half, but didn't have its 11th until the 6:20 mark of the second. The Illini turned the ball over 21 times overall.
Rutgers opened the second half on an 11-3 run, with six points by Copper, to take a 47-31 lead and led by as many as 26 points.
