Evolving food practices:

"Eco-Nomic Restaurant Workshop," a free seminar directed to businesses such as restaurants, cafeterias, caterers, school, hospitals and entities serving food, will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday, March 9, at Venue One meeting and event center, 550 Lake-Cook Road, Deerfield. The seminar is sponsored by the village and several other partners to offer insight into evolving practices regarding food composting, energy and water conservation and local food sourcing and case studies from local peers.
