LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) - The Chicago Bears have hired Ben Wilkerson as assistant offensive line coach.

Wilkerson played in 32 games over three NFL seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals (2006) and Atlanta Falcons (2007-08). Wilkerson spent 2014 teaching physical education and serving as an assistant football and track coach for North Shore Senior High School in Houston. He played college football at LSU.

He was offensive line coach at Grambling State from 2012 to 2013, an offensive graduate assistant at LSU in 2010 and an offensive administrative intern there in 2011.

The Bears also announced Wednesday that former offensive line coach Pat Meyer and defensive quality control coach Chris Harris will not return.
