White Sox release spring broadcast schedule

The Chicago White Sox will have 10 Cactus League games televised from spring training in Arizona, team officials announced Monday.

The White Sox also will offer eight free webcasts of games on whitesox.com. In addition, WSCR (670-AM) will broadcast nine games (including four interactive broadcasts).

Comcast SportsNet's first spring training broadcast is scheduled for Friday, March 20, at 3:05 p.m. when the White Sox face the Cubs at Camelback Ranch.

CSN will broadcast nine spring training games, and WGN will air the Sox-Cubs game on March 27 in Mesa.

Ken "Hawk" Harrelson and Steve Stone will work all 10 television games. On WSCR, Ed Farmer and Darrin Jackson return for another season of action. Four of the nine radio broadcasts will feature an "interactive" format, allowing listeners to interact with Farmer, Jackson and pregame and postgame host Chris Rongey during the broadcast.

Russ Langer and Bill Melton will serve as the broadcast team for all eight webcasts.
