Thunder F Durant out vs Magic

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Oklahoma City forward Kevin Durant is going to sit out Monday's game against the Orlando Magic because of a sprained left big toe.

Thunder coach Scott Brooks relayed the news during his pregame media availability.

Durant first injured the toe against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Jan. 25. He sat out the next two games, against Minnesota and the New York Knicks. He played at Memphis last Saturday, but he was 5 for 16 from the field in a loss.

Durant had played in just 22 of his team's 47 previous games because of injuries to his right foot and right ankle.

Perry Jones, who has started at times when Durant has been out, will sit with an ankle injury. Dion Waiters will get his first start with the Thunder since being acquired from Cleveland.
