The New England Patriots defeated the Seattle Seahawks 28-24 during the NFL Super Bowl XLIX football game on Sunday, Feb. 1, 2015, in Glendale, Ariz.
The game was decided on an interception by Patriots Malcolm Butler in the end zone as the Seahawks were driving in from the one-yard line with less than a minute to go for the winning touchdown.
Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was named Super Bowl MVP.
This is the fourth Super Bowl championship for the New England Patriots since 2001.
