Missing Virginia teen found in Little Rock

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - A teen girl has been found safe in Arkansas after disappearing from Virginia with an older man.

Authorities found the 16-year-old Thursday outside an apartment in Little Rock after police received information about her location. They later found the 33-year-old man inside.

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette (http://bit.ly/1CIcdx5 ) reports that police say the man told them he drove the teen to Arkansas from Virginia. According to the Christiansburg Police Department in Virginia, the man traveled from Illinois to meet the teenager. It is not clear why they drove to Arkansas or how they met.

The girl had been missing since Monday.

He is facing a charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and additional charges are pending.
