Stevens and Chidom lead No. 17 Duke women over Pitt 62-45

DURHAM, N.C. (AP) - Azura Stevens had 14 points and 12 rebounds, Oderah Chidom added 10 points and 10 boards, and the No. 17 Duke women beat Pittsburgh 62-45 on Thursday night.

Stevens had 11 points in the first half when Duke (15-6, 6-2 ACC) built a 36-20 advantage. The Blue Devils led by no less than 13 points in the second half.

Brianna Kiesel had 13 points and Fred Potvin scored 11 to lead Pitt (13-7, 3-4).

The Blue Devils took their first double-digit lead at 19-8 after an 8-0 run and stretched it to 33-14 on Stevens' basket with 2:37 left in the half. Rebecca Greenwell was 2 of 4 from 3-point range, finishing with 10 points, five rebounds and three steals.

Duke shot 50 percent from the field while holding the Panthers to 29 percent and outrebounding them 44-26.
