Teen, guardian arrested in Indianapolis road rage incident

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - A 17-year-old and his 52-year-old guardian have been arrested on felony charges by Indianapolis police for a road rage incident in which shots were fired.

The incident took place in a parking lot last November. Detectives say the teen fired several shots at another vehicle occupied by four teenagers. No one was injured, but the vehicle was significantly damaged.

Police say they were able to identify and arrest the suspects after several weeks of investigating.

The teen was charged with dangerous possession of a firearm, criminal recklessness and attempted battery by means of a deadly weapons. His guardian was charged with assisting a criminal.
