Tulsa's Woody Guthrie Center announces Beatles exhibit

TULSA, Okla. (AP) - The Woody Guthrie Center is opening a new traveling exhibit next week focusing on the Beatles' arrival in America in 1964.

The exhibit, "Ladies and Gentlemen .The Beatles!" opens Wednesday and is a GRAMMY Museum-curated exhibitˆ that will feature artifacts, videos, audio and interactive components about the legendary group.

The exhibit will be on display at the center until May 25 and is one of several events planned this year to mark the facility's two-year anniversary.

The Woody Guthrie Center opened in 2013 in downtown Tulsa and honors the folk-singing legend with interactive exhibits, an extensive archive and a concert series that serves as a lasting tribute to his legacy.
