CINCINNATI (AP) - Branson AirExpress is set to start flights this spring from the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport to destinations including New Orleans and cities in Missouri and Mexico.

Officials on Wednesday announced the new service at the airport in Hebron, Kentucky, near Cincinnati. They say the airline operated by Orange Air will start flights to New Orleans and to Branson, Missouri, and Cancun, Mexico, on May 7.

The flights will be on 150-seat MD-83 aircraft. The airport says the flights will depart from the Cincinnati airport to the leisure destinations on Mondays, Thursday and Saturdays and will return on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

The airline says it will offer introductory one-way fares to New Orleans and Branson for $99 and to Cancun for $199.
