Music festival moving from Illinois to Arkansas

DANVILLE, Ill. (AP) - The organizers of the year-old Phases of the Moon Music and Art Festival say they'll move their show from Illinois to Arkansas.

Founder Sam Shear told The News-Gazette in Champaign (http://bit.ly/1CYMpdP ) he's planning the 2015 version of the event for Oct. 16-18 at Mulberry Mountain near Ozark, Arkansas.

The show ran for four days in September in a park near Danville. Festival organizers dubbed it a success though those who attended endured heavy rain. The crowd was estimated to be between 8,000 and 10,000 people.

In a note posted on the festival's website, Shear called the decision to move the festival bittersweet.
