Explore 10 public gardens with St. Charles library program

The St. Charles Public Library invites you to crisscross the United States with Brock and Ruth Ann Seney as you view the beautiful possibilities each of the featured public gardens has to offer.

“Adding Public Gardens to Your Travels Plans” is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 1, in the Huntley Community Room of the library, 1 S. Sixth Ave.

The 1 p.m. program features 10 spectacular gardens in the United States, Canada, and the Netherlands.

The Seneys are avid travelers and have been visiting gardens wherever they have traveled. Ruth Ann has been gardening since she was a child. She is a Master Gardener with the University of Illinois Master Gardeners program. Brock has taken classes at the Chicago Botanical Garden. Before retirement, both were high school teachers.
