Richmond Police seek info on tobacco store robbery

The Richmond Police Department is seeking information about a robbery that took place at a downtown tobacco store at around 3 p.m. Friday.

According to a Richmond Police media release late Sunday, an unarmed male black subject entered the "Dollar Up Tobacco" store, 10217 Route 12, Richmond. The subject then robbed the store, taking an undetermined amount of money from the cash register. The subject left on foot in an unknown direction.

The unidentified subject was described as being beween 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-8 and having a thin build. The subject was described as being clean shaven, wearing a black knee-length coat, and a black hat.
