Guitars valued at $4,000 stolen from Arlington Hts. Guitar Center

Arlington Heights police are asking for help locating the person responsible for the theft of nearly $4,000 in merchandise from Guitar Center, 2375 S. Arlington Heights Road.

According to a police report, an unknown offender removed two bass guitars: one blue colored Fender American Vintage valued at $2,199 and one sunburst colored Fender American Deluxe valued at $1,750. The theft happened between noon on Dec. 19 and noon on Thursday, Jan. 15.

A manager from Guitar Center declined to comment Monday afternoon.
