Another objection to restaurant name

I am a first generation Italian-American living in Arlington Heights, and I wholeheartedly agree with Nancy Briga that a new restaurant in our town named "Day Go Dogs" would be highly offensive to Italian-Americans living in our town or anywhere else.

Growing up an Italian in Chicago I can tell you first hand how derogatory and offensive that slang is to Italians. (The owner) should know better than to use such an objectionable name. He may think it is cute and catchy but that only shows his lack of understanding of what Italian-Americans have gone through growing up in the Chicago area.
