No. 11 Texas A&M women stymie Mississippi, 58-49

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) - Courtney Williams had 21 points and seven rebounds to help No. 11 Texas A&M women beat Mississippi 58-49 on Sunday.

Courtney Walker added 12 points, Achiri Ade had nine points and 13 rebounds and Jordan Jones finished with eight rebounds, six assists and six steals for Texas A&M (16-3, 4-1 SEC), which held Ole Miss to its lowest-scoring output of the season.

The Rebels (14-5, 4-2), who had won eight of their last nine games and three in a row, led 29-27 at halftime but committed 17 turnovers and made just 1 of 8 from 3-point range in the second half.

Erika Sisk made a layup to give Mississippi a 41-38 lead with 13:28 left, but Texas A&M scored 11 straight as the Rebels went scoreless over the next six minutes and 20 seconds.

Sisk paced Ole Miss with 15 points. Tia Faleru added 11 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks.
