Michigan announces 2 more assistant football coaches

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) - Michigan has added Jedd Fisch and John Baxter to new coach Jim Harbaugh's football staff.

The Wolverines said Friday that Fisch will coordinate the passing game and Baxter will be the special teams coordinator.

Fisch, who spent the past two seasons as offensive coordinator for the Jacksonville Jaguars, will coach Michigan's quarterbacks and wide receivers. Before joining the Jaguars, Fisch spent two seasons as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at the University of Miami.

Baxter was an associate head coach and special teams coordinator at Southern California from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, he spent 13 seasons at Fresno State.

Harbaugh took over as Michigan's coach late last month.
