Members Exhibition showcases works at College of Lake County
College of Lake County's Members Exhibition art collection will be on display for about a month.
A Members Exhibition, featuring a diverse collection of artwork by more than 20 artist members of the Robert T. Wright Community Gallery of Art, will open at CLC's flagship Grayslake campus Friday, Jan. 16, and run through Sunday, Feb. 22.
The exhibit will kick off with a reception for the artists from 7-9 p.m. Jan. 16 in the gallery, 19351 W. Washington St.
The opening night reception, which is free and open to the public, will include refreshments and musical entertainment by Neil Penesis. A cash bar will be available.
On opening night only, art items in the Artcetera Gallery Shop can be purchased at 10 percent off, with a 20 percent discount for members. Also during the reception, members will get to purchase artwork featured in the exhibit at 10 percent off.
The Robert T. Wright Gallery's artists membership program helps to support the gallery and promotes opportunities for local artists.

Gallery hours for this exhibit are 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday; 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday; and 1-5 p.m. Sunday. The gallery will be closed Jan. 17-19 for the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.
