Orlando piles up points on Bulls
The Bulls have struggled on defense before and lost to plenty of sub-.500 teams at home this season, but never anything quite like this.
Center Nik Vucevic and second-year guard Victor Oladipo scored 33 points each to lead the Orlando Magic to a 121-114 victory over the Bulls at the United Center on Monday.
Orlando shot 59.3 percent from the field and held a double-digit lead for much of the second half. The Bulls' best chance to get back in it ended when Joakim Noah missed a pair of free throws while trailing 109-104 with 2:17 remaining.
Pau Gasol had trouble guarding Vucevic and was on the losing end of a monster one-hand slam late in the third quarter. But Gasol did end up with 28 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Bulls.
Derrick Rose returned to the lineup after missing one game due to soreness in his left knee and played reasonably well. He had 18 points and 7 assists while hitting 8 of 15 shots from the field.
