Carpentersville fire academy worth time

This fall, my husband and I participated in the first Carpentersville Citizens Fire Academy. We were amazed at the level of education and activities we were able to do with the help of teams from the three Carpentersville fire houses.

We just wanted to thank them publicly and say that along with the fire skills knowledge they shared, we also saw a great camaraderie of men and women of this department that were there, even on their off time, all so excited to share this opportunity with us.

We will continue to support this community department and would highly recommend you check out the next fire academy. It is a very hands-on learning and will increase your appreciation. We feel we have a very qualified team of fire, dispatchers, and police who serve our community.

We also attended one of the past police academy courses and highly recommend it also. Thank you to all who serve.
