DuPage Children's Museum closed due to water damage

Significant water damage, likely due to the cold weather, has forced the DuPage Children's Museum in Naperville to close.

The museum, located at 301 N. Washington Street, announced Friday it will be closed for repairs for an unspecified period of time. ABC 7 reported all three floors were inundated with water after pipes burst.

In a news release, the museum announced it has retained professional services to assess, repair and clean up the damage as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Updated information about the closure will be posted to the Museum's website and social media as it becomes available.

The museum advises anyone interested to check dupagechildrensmuseum.org for updated information.

“The DuPage Children's Museum apologizes for any inconvenience and appreciates the community's support during this time,” the release said.
