JCYS Summer Camp offers discounts now for summer

With temperatures dipping into the single digits, JCYS North Shore Day Camp and NSDC Sports is offering an Early Bird Discount to keep the winter blues at bay. Discounts for the 2015 summer season are available through Friday, Jan. 16.

A summer day camp for children going into kindergarten through sixth grade, North Shore Day Camp in Highland Park packs every day with sports, arts and crafts, drama, music, dance, field trips, Camper's Choice theme days, under- and overnighters at JCYS Camp Henry Horner, and daily swim lessons and water play at JCYS Lillian L. Lutz Recreation Center.

While North Shore Day Camp is a traditional summer day camp experience, NSDC Sports is a noncompetitive day camp that enables sports-loving campers to immerse themselves in sports during the summer months.

Working within varying age and skill levels, NSDC Sports introduces and improves upon skills in a variety of sports, including baseball, basketball, soccer, hockey, tennis, flag football, ultimate Frisbee, swimming and more through skill drills, games and tournaments.

Families may choose between four-, six- and eight-week summer programs. Door-to-door transportation is available, as well as before and after camp care.

For more information and to register, visit jcys.org/NSDC or contact Camp Director Johanna Sievers at jsievers@jcys.org or (847) 433-6001.
