La Crosse man pleads guilty to drug delivery in heroin death

LA CROSSE, Wis. - A 28-year-old La Crosse man has pleaded guilty to a reduced drug delivery charge in the 2012 heroin overdose death of a Clark County woman.

Reavon Taylor was charged last year with first-degree reckless homicide in the death of a woman identified in court records as Monica J.C.

A criminal complaint says the woman's brother and boyfriend identified Taylor as her heroin dealer after she was found dead with a small bag of drugs in her hands. The La Crosse Tribune reports an autopsy determined heroin was the main contributor to her overdose death.

Taylor will be sentenced for heroin delivery in March.
