Chicago man dies in fatal commuter train accident

A 31-year-old Chicago man has died after being struck by a commuter train in the Uptown neighborhood on the city's North Side.

Authorities say Quinton Davis was hit by a Chicago Transit Authority Red Line train at the Argyle stop early Sunday morning. He was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.

Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro says the death is being investigated. He says it's unclear how Davis ended up on the tracks.

An autopsy is scheduled Monday at the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
