Hrynko, No. 25 DePaul run past Georgetown, 105-85

WASHINGTON (AP) - Brittany Hrynko scored a career-high 38 points and had seven assists to lead No. 25 DePaul women past Georgetown 105-85 on Sunday.

Hrynko made 15 of 29 field goals, including 5 of 11 from 3-point range, and had four steals.

DePaul (10-5, 2-1 Big East), which cracked the 100-point plateau for the second time this season and came into the game averaging 88.6 points per game, jumped out to an 11-2 lead and took a 56-38 lead into halftime.

Georgetown (3-12, 1-2) outrebounded the Blue Demons 54-38, but committed 26 turnovers and made just 1 of 7 (14.3 percent) 3-point shots. DePaul made 13 3's and turned it over just nine times.

Chanise Jenkins had 18 points, Jessica January scored 15 and Mart'e Grays 10 for DePaul.

Dorothy Adomako led Georgetown with 23 points and 10 rebounds. Faith Woodward added 21 and 11.
