School candidates' ballot order lottery on Monday
Cook County Clerk David Orr will hold lotteries at 10 a.m. Monday to determine ballot order for suburban school board candidates who filed their petitions at the same time. The lottery will be held in the clerk's office in Chicago, 69 W. Washington St., 5th floor. Candidates who were in line at 8 a.m. on Dec. 15, the first day of filing, were considered to be "tied," no matter who was actually first in line. The consolidated local election is April 7, 2015.
