Open house for volunteers in Lake County
The Lake County Forest Preserve District will hold an open house for interested volunteers Jan. 7. The gathering will run from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the district office, 1899 W. Winchester Road, Libertyville. Attendees will learn about volunteer opportunities within the district. Anyone 15 or older can attend. For more, visit lfcpd.org or call (847) 968-3321.
