Brunch Cafe opens Huntley location
Brunch Cafe recently opened its fourth location in Huntley. The contemporary breakfast and lunch cafe offers traditional breakfast items and other decadent twists - like the stuffed French toast, berry explosion waffles, avocado-topped quesadillas and sausage sliders. Specials at the new location include a strawberry kiwi crepe combo for $8.99, blueberry French toast for $7.99 and a taco omelet for $9.99. Open from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily.

Charms now open
Charms Grill and Drink, a Greek and American restaurant with a full-service bar, recently underwent renovations and reopened under new owner Steve Morakalis. Daily specials include roast turkey with dressing for $12.95 on Mondays; cod fish fry on Fridays for $12.95; braised lamb shank for $16.95 on Saturdays; and French fried chicken for $13.95 on Sundays. Open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 1 to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday.

Nancy's Da Ditka pizza
Nancy's Pizza and former Chicago Bears coach Mike Ditka teamed up to create Da Ditka Pizza. Available through the Super Bowl, the pizza comes in thin crust or original stuffed and topped with cheese, meatballs, pepperoni, onions and green peppers.
