Warren High hosts autism event:

Warren Township High School will host a Parent Café on Wednesday, Dec. 3, focusing on creating a plan for winter break for unique learners. Parents, grandparents, caregivers and respite workers for children with autism are invited to a presentation co-sponsored by Warren Township High School District 121 and Easter Seals of Metropolitan Chicago. The focus of this Parent Café will be sharing practical strategies for home and community to assist with change in routine, holiday celebrations and family travel. The program will be in the Gallery at the Almond Gallery, 34090 Almond Road, Gurnee, and runs from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Advance registration is requested, particularly if child care is needed.
