The annual Turkey Trot is an event that continues to give back to the community in several ways. All participants are asked to bring a nonperishable food item for the Palatine Township Food Pantry on Thanksgiving morning, and race proceeds help provide Palatine Park District scholarships throughout the year. This event raises funds through the generous support of many park district partners. In addition to the partnership with Presenting Sponsor Lavelle Law, Ltd., sponsorship at the gold level has been provided this year by Alexian Brothers Health System, American Chartered Bank, Daily Herald Media Group, Loving Care Animal Hospital, Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament, New Balance Chicago, Palatine Bank & Trust, Palatine Vision Center, and Whole Foods Market - Kildeer.
