Katie Rains Designs releases 'The Giraffe's Mustache'

Katie Rains Designs announces the release of "The Giraffe's Mustache, A Storybook You Can Color," created collectively by Chicagoans Katie Rains, Matt Lang, and Liz Meyer.

The Giraffe, with its long, long neck, was tired of being noticed. From the cafe, to the train, to the park, The Giraffe spends a day trying to be somebody else. Will it work? Or will The Giraffe learn that we can only ever be who we are?

Katie Rains Designs published this unique book through the Mascot Books Author Program. The Mascot Books Author Program allows prospective authors to publish their books in a way that combines the freedom of self-publishing with all the support a publishing industry leader has to offer.

About Katie Rains Designs

Katie Rains founded Katie Rains Designs, located in Little Village, Chicago, in 2013 as a green business focused on making new and useful products from disused materials. Using reclaimed interior design fabric samples, Katie produced and released her first plush toy, The Giraffe, in the spring of that year. In collaboration with author Matt Lang, the plot of "The Giraffe's Mustache" was hatched over dinner. Liz Meyer was brought on board through a friend of a friend to give illustrated life to the upcycled, plush, toy giraffe. Learn more at katierains.com.
