Attack on electric grid is most dire threat

Which is a more dire threat to America, a potential 1- to 2-degree increase in temperatures 100 years from now, or a collapse of our electric grid, water systems, and/or gas systems which could result in the death of 90 percent of Americans in 12 months according to our own government?

On Nov. 20, NSA Chief Admiral Michael Rogers reported to the U.S. House Intelligence Committee that he expects a major cyberattack on American electric, gas, and/or water systems in the next decade. He said, "It's only a matter of when, not if that such an attack occurs."

The U.S. Congressional EMP Commission reported that a successful EMP attack on our electric grid would result in the death of 90 percent of Americans through starvation, disease, or social chaos. A successful cyberattack could have the same disastrous results.

How many Americans know this? Have we heard President Obama warn us of this? Secretary of State John Kerry said that "Man-made climate change was the greatest threat to the world." Really?

Admiral Rogers reported that China and other foreign "parties" were infiltrating our electric, water, and gas grids in preparation for such a cyberattack. The EMP Commission reported that China, Russia, and North Korea have the capability to launch an EMP attack that could also shut down our electric grid.

Why isn't this real dire threat to our nation in the headlines every day like "global warming" is?
