Some advice on televised debates

About a year and a half from now the political debates will be starting up. What I would like to see in televised debates is the camera remaining on the speaker. Not on the other candidate(s) shaking his head incredulously or having a smirky "you're so wrong" smile. I don't want to see the people in the audience either. I want to concentrate on the each speaker when it is his turn.

I get a feeling of television station bias when the camera is not totally on the speaker. It would also be great if a candidate's microphone got cut off when he interrupts the speaker. The other candidate can rebut the speaker when it is his turn to speak.

It would also be great if the candidates stuck to answering the moderator's question; moderators should have the guts to chastise the speaker for not doing so. Political debates and speeches are important and deserve our full attention.
