Chicago Little League team visits White House

Chicago's Jackie Robinson West Little League baseball team has made the obligatory champions' visit to the White House.

President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama met Thursday with the team, their coaches, managers and Little League officials.

The first couple took a group picture with the team in the Oval Office. The president said "say cheese" as the team was readying for the photo. The players, dressed in their gold and blue jerseys and ties, then toured the White House.

Jackie Robinson West earned the White House visit by winning the national Little League championship game before falling to South Korea in the world championship game.

The team, made up of boys 11 to 13 years old, has been praised for both their poise and athletic abilities.
