Not beholden to Madigan, Dems

This letter is in support of Heidi Holan who is running for District 46 state representative. She has helped at trail and park cleanups and many volunteer community projects. She has great ideas and is reasonable.

We have also received over 30 direct mail advertising for Deb Conroy paid for mainly by the Democratic Party of Illinois and other Madigan sponsored groups. Groups do not donate that kind of money to a candidate without expecting something in return. In the past she almost always has voted with the Madigan Democrats.

When a vote really matters to the party how will Deb Conroy vote? She is indebted to the Democratic Party. The same Democratic Party of Madigan and Quinn that continue to ruin our state.

On Oct. 23, the league of women voters held a candidate forum and invited Heidi Holan and Deb Conroy. Heidi showed and Deb declined.

I would have asked Deb Conroy about the source and amounts of her campaign money.

If we want to improve the state of Illinois we need to elect independent representatives that are not beholden to the current group of politicians, actually live in the district they represent and stand up for tax payers. Heidi Holan is that person.
