Grayslake Central d. Mundelein: In a regional play-in round contest at Grayslake Central, the Rams swept Mundelein, 25-8, 25-18.
Hayley Peterson and Taylor O'Neil led the way with 11 and 10 kills respectively while Allie Daul added 6 kills. Setter Juliana Fruslone rolled up 27 assists and Morgan Anderberg and Marie Gerbasi led the Rams with 13 and 11 digs respectively.
Prospect d. Grayslake North: Also at Grayslake Central, Prospect out-lasted Grayslake North, 15-25, 25-16, 25-22. For North, Kendall Buckman finished with 10 kills and 15 assists while Char Gaunkey added 10 assists. Bailey Hardy had 7 kills.
Lake Zurich d. Barrington: At Cary-Grove, Lake Zurich swept Barrington, 25-17, 25-15. Hannah Sweetwood had 10 assists and 2 blocks for the Bears. Amanda Kamins added a team-high 5 kills while Sienna Robertson led the Bears (17-19) with 4 digs.
Lake Forest d. Highland Park: At Warren, Lake Forest edged Highland Park in three games, 25-10, 19-25, 25-19 and will face Libertyville at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
McHenry d. Grant: At Prairie Ridge, McHenry swept Grant, 25-9, 25-9. Meanwhile, Prairie Ridge swept Round Lake, 25-6, 26-24.
Glenbrook North d. Zion-Benton: At Stevenson, Glenbrook North edged Zion-Benton, 25-16, 22-25, 25-20. Glenbrook North moves on to face Hersey.
