Buffalo Grove High School paper launches website

The Buffalo Grove High School newspaper, the Charger, recently launched bghscharger.org, becoming one of the last high school papers in the area to create a web presence, according to Co-Editor-in-Chief Emily Davidson. Nonetheless, she's excited, especially because of the video that accompanied the launch, which in a week garnered more than 1,000 views. "We posted a hilarious BG-related music video, 'BG: the Music Video,' which is essentially a parody of the school to the tune of 'Thrift Shop' by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis," Davidson emailed. The website is posting other videos as well, including a highlight reel and a video sports interview covering the MSL East win for the boys cross country team. Davidson said editors plan to post every day.
