Libertyville wins: At the Lake Forest West Campus, Libertyville defeated both Grant (25-36) and Lake Forest (15-50). Frank Cardy of Grant placed first with a 15:52 while Libertyville's top finisher was Rob Seneczko. He placed third with a 16:20.
Vernon Hills wins: At Deerpath Park in Vernon Hills, Vernon Hills defeated both Antioch (18-43) and Lakes (15-48). Tyler Smith of Vernon Hills finished first with a 16:01.2, just edging out teammate Shane Williamson (16:01.5). Danny Ressler of Antioch placed third with a 16:29.3 and Jacob Hubbard was Lakes' top finisher. He placed ninth with a 17:20.1.
