Lake Forest Residents Steve and Janet Platcow Give $5,000 to Lake Forest Police Foundation

Lake Forest residents Steve and Janet Platcow have generously donated $5,000 to the newly formed Lake Forest Police Foundation. The Platcow family is part of an elite group of Founding Donors who are committed to making a lasting impact on the community of Lake Forest. The funds will be used to enhance police and community relations, aid in crime prevention, purchase specialized equipment, improve training and education of department members, and support outreach and community programs.

"As Lake Forest residents, Janet and I both feel strongly that it's important to support the good work that the Lake Forest Police Department is doing at keeping our community safe," said Steve Platcow, a life-long resident of Lake Forest. "The Lake Forest Police Foundation is poised to make a long-lasting impact on making sure our police department has the best resources available to them," he added.

The Lake Forest Police Foundation was formed as a 501(c)3 organization in 2014 to support the important work of the Lake Forest Police Department through the donation of funds, services, and equipment.
