Burlington Central 7, Marengo 0: The brother combo of Jake and Luke Schramme engineered a complete domination in Big Northern East action Tuesday. The Schrammes accounted for 3 of Central's goals and 3 of the 5 assists by the Rockets (6-1-2, 4-1), as Jake netted 2 goals and 2 assists while Luke dished for 1 goal and 1 assist. Stefan Jochum also chipped in 2 goals, Danny Hall and Cade Doughterty each added 1 goal and Chris Leberecht notched 2 assists. Goalkeeper Ryan Fitzgerald also made 2 saves.

Elgin Academy 10, Roycemore 3: Julian Romano stole the show with 5 goals in the Hilltoppers' nonconference win. Elgin Academy (5-2) led 8-2 at the half as Romano nailed 2 unassisted goals while scoring 1 off a penalty kick. Armin Ward scored twice to go with his 1 assist. Drew Wilmington and Karan Gowda pushed across 1 goal and 2 assists each. Elliot Wittmeyer scored 1 goal and Patrick Westerhoff added 1 assist while Spencer Schael made 9 saves in goal.
